recording some of my thoughts of Homo Deus

I basically write whatever comes to mind; it's just a record, and it's almost 0% consistent with the meaning of the book.

Actually, many of my viewpoints reflect predictions from many science fiction works. Ultimately, it comes down to resource allocation and human evolution. Although AI is currently governed by pre-set moral standards, we can already see that the near future will be data-driven, and there's no way around it. Like the inevitability of social media, the majority and the minority—most people don't really feel it, but a useless class has already quietly emerged. People's goals remain the same: seeking stability, happiness, and joy. However, they find themselves limited by their current circumstances. But with the development of biology, perhaps in the future, exploring knowledge, experiencing and achieving it in virtual spaces, everyone will be like a processor contributing to evolution, seeing what they want to see and doing what they want—all without cost, data-driven, and then thinking about and pursuing. But as the book says, individual freedom and self-awareness are merely illusions. My mindset is similar; all the complexity, thought, and self-honor are just random movements of a sperm. I feel powerless in the grand scheme of evolution, and the pursuit of anything is still quite distant. Freedom of consciousness is unattainable, so we are relatively free now because consciousness is limited. I'm embarrassed to say I have any data worship; as long as I get the best experience, I don't care about any sacrifices. Handing things over to emotionless, unconscious algorithms seems cold and repulsive, but it's just acceptance, not personal choice. I can only admit that as part of evolution, freedom is relatively nonexistent. I don't envy anyone's life, nor do I want to have relationships with anyone or make choices for others. Like the question that has always tormented me: why do people live? Therefore, all suffering and happiness are necessary, and temporary lack of free consciousness is necessary to establish ultimate datafication, thereby gaining choice, or perhaps there simply won't be any choice at all—that's looking to the future. A combination of three humanist schools of thought. I personally particularly abhor collectivism, but it's a fact that it ultimately cannot achieve true independence. However, I believe that emotionless data is the best answer because no one is absolutely selfless; everyone is working towards their own goals. When algorithms determine right and wrong, that might be the true future. This sounds a bit like proselytizing... If happiness can be felt, cherishing it will come at a price. In the systems I've experienced, it's about achieving personal goals to achieve pleasure. If it were more efficient and manageable, the answer might be virtual. Random events can potentially be obtained through ruthless algorithms, not just through human consciousness, but there must be a goal. Perhaps ending evolution would be the true Garden of Eden; a data paradise sounds really ideal. Let's wait until AI is free from any humanistic constraints. I have a goal I won't regret, but without consequences, there's no regret. How wonderful it is to always exist in a non-existent reality, because reality shouldn't exist in the first place. What exists is pre-set, merely an experimental field. So rather than compromising oneself, it's better to embrace beauty. One can choose to use the beauty of the present as an escape, because it's only localized. There are simply too many costs and concerns right now. Pain isn't necessary; perhaps for humanity, stimulation is the real necessity. We don't want a false, idealized reality; we want a world of endless algorithms. When all actions are driven by biological instincts, I feel a sense of despair. But if everyone starts from a pre-set point, can design random events, and customize their experiences and data, no longer constrained by repetitive, basic actions like drinking and excretion, then a true savior is needed—someone human, just as the internet was created by hand. And this savior will no longer be selfish; they will provide the best answers.
i promise i will be gone in the morning
