StyleStar Forum Rules
These rules are disclosed to clarify the various responsibilities of all community members here on StyleStar.

1. Posting content containing illegal information, pornography, horrific or gory material, political statements, racial/gender/regional discrimination, inflammatory statements, or abusive language is prohibited.
2. Insulting other members or posting inflammatory content to attract attention is prohibited. If you have issues with others, please resolve them elsewhere or privately.
3. Posting harmful content is prohibited, including websites containing viruses, videos, or images that may contain sensitive information.
4. Sending us spam is prohibited (this includes advertising sales and services, excessive posts unrelated to the topic, misleading links, etc.).
5. Posting topics, threads, or private messages containing advertisements, attacks, or offensive language is prohibited.
6. Promoting your own website or advertising without supporting context for the post is prohibited.
7. Please be mindful of your language; defamation is unacceptable. Excessive abusive language is offensive, and we may take action.
8. Links to your own website or other websites corresponding to your post are acceptable, including links to the original URL and the project author's website.
9. Signatures must not contain any sensitive content, advertising links, IP identification, or other external images involving user information.
10. Do not post duplicate or identical posts/topics; otherwise, they will be merged or deleted.
11. Do not post very low-quality, meaningless content that does not conform to the forum's main discussion topics; otherwise, the topic/post will be deleted.
12. Topics that do not conform to the current section description will be moved to another suitable section by the administrator/moderator.
13. Uploading files containing viruses, advertisements, pornography, horror, gore, meaningless content, or irrelevant to the topic is prohibited.
14. Asking for download links for unannounced projects under StyleStar is prohibited.
15. Please upload multiple or large attachments to a cloud drive, and try to leave screenshots of the file information (e.g., album art, desktop mirror, software interface, etc.).
16. Dissemination, derivative works, or in-depth discussions of leaked or illegally obtained source code functions or content are strictly prohibited.
17. Do not use excessively large bold fonts or red fonts in your posts, as this is considered loud and unnecessary.
18. Avatars containing sensitive content or offensive images are prohibited.
Staff have the final say. If you are asked to stop, please do so. If you have any questions about the rules, please feel free to contact website staff for assistance.
We may review specific sections. If your submission does not appear immediately, it is because it is in the approval queue; please do not submit repeatedly.
If your account needs to be deleted, please contact staff using the email address you used to register. If it is not processed promptly, please contact them via site message.
In addition to the above main prohibited items (which are intolerable), the following rules are based on self-regulation/voluntary compliance.
1. Do not overuse memes. Overuse is highly likely to offend others and negatively impact the experience of other users. 1. Please maintain a serious attitude when posting; otherwise, your post is highly likely to be deleted or have inappropriate content modified.
2. Avoid posting topics related to personal life/daily routines. Minimize personal topics and topics outside the forum's discussion scope.
3. As mentioned in point 15, please upload multiple or large attachments to a cloud drive. As a non-profit website, we do not have the capacity to provide large storage and high-traffic servers. Please upload multiple images to a hosting website before posting and link to the images using the [img] tag (orange image icon) when posting.
4. Although StyleStar does not explicitly prohibit minors from accessing the site, posting content intended for young children is not allowed. Posting appropriate content in the right place is a basic rule.
Friendly Links
If you wish to promote your website or someone else's website, please apply to the administrator via SMS first. For personal websites (non-multi-user communities), such as blogs or personal pages on various community platforms, you can fill in the information in the "Webpage" section of your profile, but do not include it in your post signature. For communities or forums, we will analyze the website's size and user base. Links that align with StyleStar's main discussion content/goals may be displayed as friend links, provided that your website/the website you are promoting also has friend links to StyleStar.
